for mink trapping will squirrel and mouse meat be good bait. do they need to be fresh or can i let the flesh sit out and get smelly. and will mink get suspicous if i mix the carcass with sardinesSquirrel and mouse for mink bait?
They dont have a mink bait at bass pro shops or cabella you can try. I guess if mink hunt and eat mice or squirrels then it should work. I would set it fresh and leave it. If you get a mink then fresh works. If you wait 3 days for the meat to get smelly and catch one then rotten meat works. Personally I'm getting suspicious of you wanting to mix sardines with mouse and squirrel meat to catch a mink.
