You can buy these boxes that plug into an outlet, they emit a high-pitched noise that drives away rodents, but doesn't affect your pets. They cost around 10.00-15.00, and you can get them at Wal-Mart or any department store, and they work well.Getting rid of mice(squirrels)???
stuff steel wool in around the holes where the pipes come through the wall. Also check dryer vent and vent holes.
um hate to tell ya but chances are that there isnt just ONE mouse.....how does a squirrel get into the pipes?
Bring owl.
Glue traps are the best method to trap rats and mice. I found detailed information at http://pests.in
you can put a small trap inside a box --bait it with peanut butter--cut a small hole in the box--it can get in but kids and pets can't
If you are the owner, caulk or seal all cracks in foundation or crawl space first..

Mouse traps or sticky bait boxes out of the way of your pets is the best avenue to get mice. Making sure the house is tight will reduce rodent infestations. Get rid of garbage that attracts them.
Well, this will sound cruel, but we're talking traps anyways... I've had great results with mice by getting a bucket of water, half full, a wire with a soda can strung on it, and peanut butter smeared on the can. The mice are able to climb up the side of the bucket, crawl out on the wire, and once they reach the can, it spins on the wire and the mouse goes off into the water. It can't crawl out, so it drowns. Works every time. And steel wool is the best for mouse proofing cracks and such. The trap may also work on the squirrel, if that's what you want. Apologies to all you bleeding hearts out there...
soak some sponges in bacon grease, put near suspected entrance.
