Do mice store and eat acorns like squirrels?

My sister has been finding acorns in a variety of odd spots in her log cabin out in the country. There does not appear to be any mouse droppings or chewings near by. She has found mice in her cabin in the past. Do mice store and eat acorns like squirrels to? She found one on top of the TV (!!) and a whole row neatly tucked into the area between the mattress and the box springs on her bed. Freaky! We think it's probably mice, but have just never heard of them gathering and storing them up like squirrels. Anyone else had this experience?Do mice store and eat acorns like squirrels?
no, mice sometimes find and store food/trash and eat it later but they dont store acorns like squirrelsDo mice store and eat acorns like squirrels?
Never had this happen but i have delt a great deal with animals. ive never herd of mice storing food in there mouths, but there are a lot of different types of mice and roddents. i know chipmuncs are smaller and they do it, so that might be the explanation. it has to be some kind of roddent. you just have to see what kind live in her area so you can narrow the search down for what type of roddent it is...
